What to expect in this course

This course is to guide you through the exploration of different meditation styles in order to discover which resonate with you. After you have identified a style that resonates with you, you will create your own meditation plan and turn it into a daily habit. The course was designed to cover 21 days of practice in order to help form a fundamental habit, so you can work through it at your own pace, but it is advised that you try to keep things consistent to help form this positive habit.

You will receive a PDF file that you can print or use digitally to do your daily reflections in, but you do not have to use this one. You can use any notebook or program, as long as you do a daily reflection about:

  • How your day was.
  • Your thoughts on the meditation style.
  • Any alterations you can make going forward.

Each new meditation session will have an audio file for you to play, and text explaining the basics of the style, what preparations you need to make, and how to end off the practice. Listening to these with headphones is preferred but not mandatory.

The key is to understand what you are intending to do during a particular meditation style, and then to reflect on it afterward in order to gain more knowledge about it not only from your head-space but also from your heart space. So not just what you think about it but also what you feel. Meditation is best done from the heart-space instead of the head-space.

At the end of the course, I will also provide you with some resources that can help you sustain your new positive habit of meditation.
